Social Media Coordinator
The Bruce Porter for Santa Barbara County Supervisor campaign is looking to hire a Social Media Content Coordinator to work both independently and directly with senior campaign staff to develop and execute the campaign’s social media strategy for Isla Vista and UCSB.
Core Responsibilities

Create engaging text, video, and image content for social media accounts

Monitor, report on, and handle engagement of social media accounts

Maintain and update social media accounts as needed

Make executive decisions regarding the release of social media content
Secondary Responsibilities
-
Door-to-door voter engagement

Tabling on campus and in IV
Qualifications
At least one (1) of the following is required:

Previous experience in maintaining social media accounts for a company, club, organization, etc.

Ability to demonstrate exceptional experience and capability in maintaining personal social media accounts

Upperclassmen standing in Communications, Marketing, or other applicable degrees
Time Requirement

15-20 hours/week
Compensation

$15 an hour
