Communications Staffer

As a Communications Staffer, you will work both independently and directly with senior campaign staff to create engaging content for a variety of mediums including social media platforms, op-eds, press releases, letters to the editor, and campaign marketing materials.
This is an entry-level position and requires no prior experience. While prior experience will be taken into account, all applicants will be required to provide a short writing sample which will be used as the primary factor for determining successful candidates.
Core Responsibilities

Write and edit copy for a variety of mediums

Create engaging social media content

Generate ideas and provide input on implementing the campaign's overall communications strategy

Attend and provide write-ups on community and campaign events

Conduct research as needed for your own projects, as well as projects handled by other teammates
Secondary Responsibilities

Door-to-door voter engagement

Tabling on campus and in IV

Distributing campaign material
